Recently I’ve just experimented with fruits as the main ingredients in soup. The results is satisfying and delicious! My momm loves it and complains that I should have cooked more. I would like to share this recipe with all of you and hope that it will bring you the same satisfaction as it did to me.

Ingredients:

Pork ribs/ soft bones

Ready to cook chicken broth

3 Green apples

1/2 Rock melon

10 Red dates

Garlics

Preparation:

1. Boil the pork ribs or soft bones in a 1/2 filled soup pot of water and strain them. This is to ‘wash away’ the fats/oils as well as the blood. Do this a few times. For those who finds this troublesome, we could scoop always scoop away the fats while we boil it. Remember to throw in the garlics with the bones

2. Wash the green apples and cut them into quarters. Remove its pits and put them into the soup with the pork ribs or soft bones.

3. Wash the red dates and put them in as well.

4. Remove the seeds from the rock melon and cut them into sizes that can throw into your juicer. You should have 3/4 full of your juicer glass.

5. Pour the melon juice into the soup pot. Add in your chicken broth. Stir the soup.

6. Bring the soup to a boil and turn down the heat to bring it to a simmer.

For those who do not eat pork, we could replace them with chicken. Do try this recipe at home as it is very easy to prepare and cook. Bon Appetit!

7. Add a few pinches of salt if you prefer it to be more salty.
