Caramel Ice Cream Dessert
I got this wonderfully rich dessert recipe from my mother. Everyone looks forward to it at family get-togethers, and it disappears quickly!
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Oatmeal
2 cups Flour
2 sticks Margarine, melted
12 oz jar of Caramel Topping
1/2 gallon Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
1 cup Pecans, chopped
Mix brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, margarine, and pecans. Spread on cookie sheet and bake for 10 min at 400 degrees.
Crumble half of warm mixture into a 9 X 12 pan. Spread half of caramel topping over it, then spread the ice cream on top. Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over the ice cream and top with remaining caramel topping.
Freeze until firm.
